Who is Moonlighting Makes?

Maria McBride is a former IT Data Geek and a fulltime Fibre Arts Nerd.

 

She was taught how to knit by her grandfather when whe was 8yo but it wasn't until she learned how to crochet 13 years ago that she really got hooked on yarn! With a background in corporate training, she has been professionally teaching knitting and crochet classes for over 10 years and has published patterns in national print magazines and self-published on Ravelry.com.

 

Maria is passionate about introducing people to the world of knitting and crochet and helping them along their fibre arts journey. She is known as 'Moonlighting Makes' on Instagram, Facebook and Ravelry.

When she isn't knitting or crocheting, she ​can be found baking, gardening, hunting for vintage clothing and knitwear or petting any animal she is allowed to.
